9/30/2021 0 Comments Baked RigatoniThis was relatively easy and quick to make and the flavors came together beautifully. 16 oz. of rigatoni pasta 1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. ground pork 24 oz. of pasta sauce 2 teaspoons of sage 2 teaspoons of pepper 2 teaspoons of Thyme 2 teaspoons of oregano 2 teaspoons of parsley 2 teaspoons of onion powder 2 teaspoons of salt 2 teaspoons of garlic salt 8 oz. of shredded mozzarella Preheat oven to 400 degrees F In a medium pot boil the pasta until tender. In a large bowl combine your beef, pork, and spices. Once mixed together cook the meat mixture in a skillet over medium heat. Now add the sauce and lower the heat to a simmer. In a greased casserole dish layer in the pasta, cheese, and meat until the pan is full top with meat sauce and more mozzarella, bake in the oven until the cheese is completely melted. once melted set aside to cool, serve with garlic bread.

2/22/2020 1 Comment Beef and gravy casseroleMouthwatering beef with a flavorful gravy resting on top of a bed of egg noodles. 1 1/2 lb. of ground beef 1 teaspoon of onion powder 2 teaspoons of minced garlic 1 teaspoon of parsley 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of pepper 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce 3 Tablespoons of butter 3 Tablespoons of flour 1 cup of milk 1 1/2 cup of beef broth 1 teaspoon of oregano 1 teaspoon of paprika 1 teaspoon of thyme 6 oz. of egg noodles Preheat oven to 375 degrees F Boil the egg noodles until tender, in a large skillet brown the ground beef, then drain. Pit the meat back into the skillet and stir in the minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, oregano and thyme; let it cook for 5 minutes. At this point the egg noodles should be done, strain and set them aside. Remove the meat from the heat; in a medium pot over medium heat melt the butter. Once the butter is melted stir in the flour and let it cook until browned. Now pour in the milk and broth stir until it begins to thicken, then take it off of the heat and set it aside. To assemble the casserole; grease a casserole dish, now spread the noodle in the bottom of the pan, then the meat, and lastly the gravy. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, pull it out and let it cool before serving. 1/27/2020 0 Comments Creamy Chicken and Spinach pastaCreamy with a bold flavor. 4 boneless chicken breasts sliced 2 cups of bowtie pasta 3 cups of spinach 2 cups of chicken broth 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream 2 cups of shredded mozzarella 1 cup of shredded parmesan 2 teaspoons of minced garlic 1 teaspoon of onion powder 1 teaspoon of oregano 1 teaspoon of paprika 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper 1 tablespoon of canola oil In a medium sauce pan boil the pasta until tender. Using a large skillet cook the chicken completely, then set it aside. In a large pot Heat the oil over medium heat add the spinach, and the garlic and stir. Let cook for about 5 minutes. Next pour in the broth and heavy cream continue stir; add the onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt and pepper. Then sprinkle in the mozzarella and Parmesan. Bring it down to a simmer heat and continue to stir for 10 minutes. Lastly take the pot of the heat and add the chicken. 3/13/2019 0 Comments Spaghetti and Meatballs This little bowl of heaven is savory and full of flavor. 1/2 lb. of ground beef 1/2 lb. of ground pork 2 eggs 1/3 cup of shredded mozzarella 1 teaspoon of ground oregano 2 teaspoons of salt & pepper 1 teaspoon of ground parsley 1/2 cup of ground oats 1 teaspoon of ground basil 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 teaspoon of sugar 1/2 lb. of spaghetti 1 (16 oz.) jar of tomato pasta sauce Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. In a large pot, boil spaghetti, until tender. In a large bowl combine; beef, pork, eggs, mozzarella, oregano, salt& pepper, parsley, oats, basil, cinnamon, and sugar. Once the meat mixture is thoroughly mixed, form meat into 2 1/2 inch balls, and place them on a baking sheet and bake until cook through . by this point the spaghetti should be ready, drain and set aside. In the same pot, pour in the sauce and begin to heat it over medium heat. Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to the sauce and stir. Place the spaghetti into a serving dish, then pour the sauce and meatballs over top. Then sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top. YUMM |
