Wild berry cobbler

 A great way to use those berries you spent all day picking

Filling
1 Cup Blueberries
1 Cup Blackberries
1 Cup Raspberries
​1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup melted butter
​1 1/2 cup sugar
​1 Tbsp. cornstarch
​1/2 tsp cinnamon
Crust
                                                                                        1 3/4 cup flour
                                                                                        1/2 tsp. salt
                                                                                        1/2 cup shortening
                                                                                         1/2 cup butter
                                                                                         2 Tbsp. water

                                                                                                     1 egg beaten
​Preheat oven 350 degrees F. Grease 9x13 pan; Combine Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries and lemon juice and set aside. In a medium sauce pan mix butter, sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon; let simmer on medium heat until sugar is dissolved; stir occasionally. Place berries into greased dish, pour butter mixture over berries and set aside. In a medium mixing bowl combine flour, salt, shortening, and butter. Stir in water and mix until combined. Form dough into a ball, place onto a floured surface and roll dough into a rectangle, big enough to cover the berry mixture. brush egg over the crust and bake in oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. enjoy.
