Stuffed Bell peppers

My aunt used to make these win we were kids, the peppers were always so juicy and cheesy.

1 lb. ground beef
2 bell peppers (color of your choice)
4 slices of American sliced cheese
Salt and pepper to taste. Slice peppers in half and clean out core and seeds, place peppers in a 9 x 13 baking dish and set aside. In a saucepan brown the ground beef and add salt and pepper to taste. Using a spoon scoop up the ground beef and place in the pepper, add as much or as little as desired. Top peppers with cheese and in to oven at 350 degrees F until cheese is melted.
