7/31/2018 2 Comments Southern Tea cakes4 cups of flour 1 teaspoon salt 2 Tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 cup of sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup milk 1 cup butter Preheat oven to 350 degrees F In a medium bowl combine flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar; add vanilla, eggs and milk. Stir flour mixture until it forms in to a ball of dough. Roll dough out onto a floured surface; using a cup or a biscuit cutter cut into dough. place cakes onto a lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Well, this one looks like a simple recipe, but I guess I will be challenged if ever I will be tasked to bake Southern Tea cakes! Thank you for this recipe because it looks perfect to be prepared this valentines day for my partner. I am sure that she will love it because it is something that we don't usually eat. The fact that Southern Tea cakes is something new in here eyes can make the recipe more appealing for her. Hopefully, I will have her on this.
