This combines two of my favorites chocolate and coffee yum.
2 1/2 cups of flour 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1 teaspoon of baking soda 1/2 a cup of unsweetened cocoa powder 1 1/2 cups of sugar 1/4 cup melted butter 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1 1/2 cups of milk 1/4 cup of brewed coffee 1/2 cup of sour cream 2 eggs Topping 3 Tablespoons of flour 3 Tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder 2 Tablespoons of butter 1 cup of sugar 1/4 cup of brewed coffee 1 cup of milk 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Preheat to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, un sweetened cocoa. Now add the butter, milk, coffee, vanilla, sour cream, and eggs; blend until everything is incorperated. Pour into a greased bunt pan and bake for 35-40 minutes until completely done in the middle. Once done set it aside to cool. To make the topping, combine the flour, cocoa powder, butter, sugar, coffee, milk, and vanilla into a medium sauce pan and cook over medium heat until it thickens, stirring occationally. Once it thickens take it off of the heat and set it aside; Gently pop the cake out of the pan and place it onto a tray. Using a ladle pour the topping over the cake a little bit at a time, the cake will absorb most of it. Set it aside and let it cool until ready to serve.
