4/3/2020 2 Comments Blueberry Citrus poke cakeThis cake has a very light and refreshing taste. 2 1/2 cups of flour 2 teaspoons of baking powder 2 teaspoons of baking soda 1 teaspoon of salt 1 1/2 cups of sugar 1/2 of melted butter 1/2 of milk 2 egg whites beaten 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1/2 cup of orange juice 1/4 cup of lemon juice 12 ounces of blue berries Topping: 3 Tablespoon of flour 1 cup of sugar 2 Tablespoons of butter 3 eggs 1/2 cup of milk 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1/4 teaspoon of salt 4 Tablespoons of lemon juice 4 Tablespoon of orange juice Pre heat oven to 350 degrees F In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Stir until combined, now pour in the milk, melted butter, vanilla, eggs, lemon juice, and orange juice, mix until everything is incorporated. Next gently fold in the blueberries. Then you will pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the cake is completely done in the middle. Once done set it aside and let it cool. To make to topping; combine the flour, sugar, butter, eggs, milk, vanilla, salt, lemon juice, and orange juice, and cook over medium heat, stirring it, until it starts to thicken. Take it off of the heat and set it aside; using a straw poke holes into your cake and SLOWLY pour the topping over the cake. Chill it until you are ready to serve.

Before anything else, I just want to tell you that this recipe looks really enticing! I was drooling while looking at this cake. My family has been done with my traditional and old fashioned chocolate cake, so I am in search of something new that can satisfy their cravings for cake. I came to a perfect website because I am pretty sure that Blueberry Citrus poke cake tastes good. I will never be disappointed!
