This is a great healthy snack, not too much sugar, or preservatives, the boys loved it.
12 Red Delicious apples peel and cored 2 teaspoons of cinnamon 1/2 cup of honey 2 cups of water Slice the apples and place them into a crock pot. Coat the apples in cinnamon and honey, pour in the water and give them a quick stir. Place the lid on; cook on high until the apples are tender. Once tender, use a potato masher and mash the apples. Now ladle the mashed apples into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the apple sauce into an air tight container and refrigerate.
