5/3/2022 0 Comments Homeschool plannerThis is a set of templates that I created on Canva to help me stay organized. Here a couple of months ago I implemented a block schedule, to help keep my kids from burn out, cause you know they're 3 and 5, but it seems to be doing well so far. The templates are blank so that you can customize it to what fits your family.
4/1/2022 2 Comments Sewing on a patchI'm going to show you how I can get longer use out of my kids clothes. AidenLee has this pair of overalls that love to wear but their are two very large holes in the knees that his leg keeps getting stuck so I went to the fabric store and bought some of the scrap fabric and let him pick out which color he wanted.
3/21/2022 1 Comment Plant guide bookI created this little book to teach my children about safe and unsafe plants, because if you have kids like mine then you know that they love to be outside and to explore. There is this one show that the boys like to watch about this family that lives on some land up north a bunch of edible plants on their land. So one fine day AidenLee my wonderful decides that is going to take a handful of grass and eat and sure enough two minutes later he throws it right back up Last year we sat down and learned about how some plant can help you and some can harm you.

1/29/2021 0 Comments PreschoolNot sure if many of you know this by we are currently home schooling our children; we typically only do maybe an hour a day, depending on what we have going and how well they can stay focused. Before we even go into the classroom we start off with words of affirmation, I have them repeat after me " I am smart, I am kind, and I am important, Jesus love's me and mommy & daddy love me." Then I will some kids worship music, let them dance around and get the wiggles out while praising God, after I'll read from a devotional, currently we are reading "Grace for the Moment" 365 devotions for kids, by Max Lucado. Then we move onto science, we just finished studying dinosaurs last semester, and have moved on to weather and seasons. 3/1/2020 0 Comments Rash CreamI created this to be an overall rash cream, so anything from an allergic reaction to chafing, to a diaper rash.. 1/2 cup of softened coconut oil 1/2 cup of liquid sunflower oil 1/2cup of soy wax 1/4 cup of cornstarch 15 drops of Lavender EO 15 drops of Frankincense EO 15 drops of Tea tree EO 15 drops of Peppermint EO In a large bowl combine the coconut and sunflower oil. In a separate bowl melt the soy wax and add to the mixture. Mix in the essential oils, cover and let chill until it starts to thickens. Using a hand mixer whip the mixture until you get stiff peaks, disperse in to containers and store in a cool place. 10/4/2019 0 Comments HomeschoolNot many of you know this, but early on Benjamin and decided to homeschool our children. and I know what you're going to say "they're too young" "they need to focus on play" but that's the great thing about School House Teachers, is that they have stuff as young as newborn, and its cute and fun ways for them to reach their milestones. Such as tummy time, cuddle time, singing the name song. There are activities from newborn to 18 months. Just go to the resource tab and click just for parents, and scroll down. Baby beginnings should be first. Since AidenLee is preschool, I have been using Preschool Playground. It has bedbug bible gang, which are cute interactive bible stories told by little bugs. You have A B C color with me, this an alphabet coloring book that features animals, then there is ABC with me: history. Come and color with me 1,2,3 this one has dinosaurs. There are cute activities for motor skills, such as tactile play, tracing, and seasonal collages. Just click on the browse by grade tab and its at the top.
