Not sure if many of you know this by we are currently home schooling our children; we typically only do maybe an hour a day, depending on what we have going and how well they can stay focused. Before we even go into the classroom we start off with words of affirmation, I have them repeat after me " I am smart, I am kind, and I am important, Jesus love's me and mommy & daddy love me." Then I will some kids worship music, let them dance around and get the wiggles out while praising God, after I'll read from a devotional, currently we are reading "Grace for the Moment" 365 devotions for kids, by Max Lucado. Then we move onto science, we just finished studying dinosaurs last semester, and have moved on to weather and seasons.

Henry is hit or miss, he is very hands on and doesn't like to sit still for very long, but he's 2 so...
We haven't been homeschooling for very I'm still trying to figure everything out. They really like when we take trips to the zoo and the fire station; where their daddy works.
I really like the curriculum we have been using, School House Teachers is affordable and Christian based, its got everything from stuff for babies, homesteading, to college prep. The boys love the matching games in World Book. My husband always say that children at this age are like sponges and do my kids absorb.
